Project Results

Melting method is a suitable procedure for the matrices preparation.
Folic acid used as model drug substance is dispersed in the matrices homogeneously.
Folic acid releases from the matrices by two-phase kinetics.
Plasticizers
 - facilitate formulation and application of matrices by decreasing their viscosity
 - positively influence liberation kinetics of folic acid
Folic acid release is influenced in the great extent by the parameters of oligoester carrier
- molecular weight
- branching degree
Plasticizer used as additive influences the release of folic acid from matrices in the greater extent than the change of dissolution medium actual acidity.
